I am a 7th generation Oregonian. I grew up in Portland, OR on the north side. My first "real" job was at Holladay Park Plaza right across the street from the Lloyd Center. But that was not close to my first experience working. My family owned an old-fashioned soda fountain in Independence OR called "Taylor's". The first job I ever had was back behind the soda fountain bar washing dishes as soon as I was able. I went to Independence every Summer staying weeks at a time working when I was old enough. Unfortunately, the store closed in 2006, right when I had worked my way up to being able to do everything; with the last skill learned being to make burgers & sandwiches for customers!

I had grown to love the area so much that in 2007 I left Cleveland high school & moved in with my grandma. I finished my years of high school @ Central High School. I ran track, did swim team & worked at the local Burgerville. After a short stint at Western Oregon University I decided to move back to Portland. There I went to beauty school at Aveda Institute where I graduated & got my hair & esthetics license. I did hair for years at the very super cool hip Bishops Barbershop (back on Mississippi where I grew up) & Rudy's Barbershop.

My family built a house across from the beach in the 1960's. At the minimum, every 4th of July we would spend in Manzanita. After years of going to the beach one 5th of July I met my husband at the San Dune in Manzanita.

In 2016 I moved to the coast and got my real estate license. I was determined to end up working in Manzanita so landed at Cascade Sothebys. It was a dream to work in my favorite beach town! In 2018 I had my first baby, a girl. Then, in 2020 our baby boy was born. These were crazy times!! I took a couple of years off from real estate to raise the babies. Since 2023 I have been able to help more then 20 families find their home at the beach or leave the beach for their next adventure. Since starting real estate I have been fortunate enough to connect more than 60 families with their dream property.
