Things to do in Bay City OR

Go to Pacific Seafoods, order fish & chips (or some other type of delicious food) & check out the views of Cape Meares. Bonus if you go on a day where you can sit outside to enjoy!
Take a walk Kilchis Point Reserve. Follow the interpretive signs for a short walk out to the bay.
Mushroom Hunting in the forest. Good luck!
During the summer months take a bike-like ride on the train tracks with the Railriders, which is an old time tradition that has been brought back to life.
Check out the City Park with pickleball court, creek, skatepark etc. You can even stay at the campground. Tent or RV camping.
Learn arts & crafts at the Art Center. Stop by for an open art night or to check out the monthly exhibit.
Get drinks at the locals bar "The Landing"
Go swimming at the Kilchis River
Have dinner @ Bay City Kitchen. Watch out for their Sunday specials.
Have Breakfast/lunch @ Downies. This is one of my favorite places for brunch in Tillamook County
