The perfect day in Cannon Beach

The Morning

• Coffee @ Sea Level (sealevelbakery.com)

  Do I visit Sea Level for coffee? Absolutely. But the real reason I go there is for the delicious queen anoms. The acai bowls are always loaded & delicious as well! Trust me when I say that this is the best reason to be in South Cannon Beach.

• From the coffee shop head straight to the beach. It's a quick stroll along the beach to Haystack Rock. Depending on the day/time you're in the area you will be able to explore the tidepools. Either way the walk to the rock is always stunning. You could honestly just spend the whole day @ the beach... but this is my perfect day so we're moving on.

  

  

  

  
  
  

The Afternoon

• Lunch @ Wayfarer (https://www.wayfarer-restaurant.com). On my perfect day I am able to reserve a table next to the window. They offer amazing local seafood with the best Haystack Rock view in Cannon Beach! If I was going to be looking for a quick lunch to go i'd go to Tom's Fish & Chips (https://tomscannonbeach.com). You can totally eat in the restaurant but my favorite thing is to order to go & eat next to or at the beach.

• My favorite part of the day; Shopping! I'd start downtown at the Chocolate Cafe (https://www.cannonbeachchocolatecafe.com) where they make their all their own chocolate. A couple of my other must stops while shopping downtown are Ter Hars, Water Witch & the Archimedes Gallery. After exploring all the galleries & shops, there i'd keep walking & go mid town to their galleries/shops to browse.

  
  

• After all the shopping a visit to Screw & Brew would be a must. Cannon Beach’s super fun half hardware store, half bar. Yes, seriously. You can grab a screwdriver (the tool or the cocktail) while sitting under racks of nails and garden hoses.

The Evening

• Dinner @ Driftwood Restaurant (https://driftwoodcannonbeach.com). The vibe of the restaurant is cozy chic & with the fun fireplace tables outside its usually a gathering space. We almost always go with sitting at the fireplaces outside.

• Bonfire on the beach. Complete with smores. & hopefully an appearance from the friendly elks or bunnies.

• Nightcap @ The Alchemy (https://www.macgregorswhiskeybar.com) Just a block from the ocean in a rustic log cabin, the lounge offers a warm, intimate setting ideal for unwinding after the perfect day in Cannon Beach
